Robbinsdale Area Schools, MN (Past Project)

NUA began its partnership with the Robbinsdale Area Schools in 2013 and continues in the areas of Professional Development and Instructional Leadership with the High Operational Practices of the Pedagogy of Confidence.  The partnership goals are to:

  • Build positive relationships between and among students and teachers
  • Amplify student voice
  • Activate student strengths
  • Integrate Prerequisites
  • Situate learning in the lives of students
  • Focus on High Intellectual Performance
  • Provide Enrichment

The Course of Study designed around the Pedagogy of Confidence and its High Operational Practices provide the framework to:

  • Improve Classroom Climate
  • Empower Student Self-Directed Learning
  • Inform Culturally Responsive Teaching
  • Achieve High Intellectual Performance
  • Increase Student Engagement and Motivation
  • Connect learning goals for Sustainability and Teacher professional growth
  • Understanding and use of Minnesota Common Core State standards.
